Abstract
Background and Aims: Non-invasive tests (NITs) are essential for screening advanced fibrosis in metabolic dysfunction associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). However, their clinical reliability across different body mass index (BMI) categories remains debated. The objective of this prospective study is to evaluate and compare the diagnostic performance of Vibration-Controlled Transient Elastography (FibroScan) and serum scores (FIB-4 and NFS) across different Body Mass Index (BMI) categories in patients with MASLD.
