Abstract

This study focuses on the assessment of the physico-chemical and microbiological quality of drilling water in the neighborhoods of Nassouroulaye and Bantounka, located in the commune of Lambanyi, Conakry. In this urban context marked by a lack of drinking water supply infrastructure, populations rely heavily on groundwater for their domestic needs. The objective of this study is to characterize the water quality of the boreholes in this locality. The methodology adopted is based on the sampling of thirteen (13) boreholes drilled during two campaigns between September 2024 and June 2025. The physical parameters were measured in situ, while chemical analyses of major ions, microbiology and dissolved metals were carried out in the laboratory.
