Abstract

Background:-Manyastambha (Cervical Spondylosis) is a Vataja Nanatmaja Vikara or Vata-Kapha predominant disorder characterized by neck pain, stiffness (stambha), and restricted mobility (greeva sthirat a). Conventional therapies offer only temporary relief, prompting evaluation of a targeted Ayurvedic protocol combining internal and external interventions. Clinical Findings:-A 59-year-old male shopkeeper presented with a 6- 7 months history of severe neck pain, cervical stiffness, regional tender ness, positive Spurlings sign, and bilateral upper limb paraesthesia, aggravated by occupational strain. Cervical range of motion was severely restricted and painful.
