Abstract
Background and problem statement: Ivorian rabbit farming, still modest (35,000 rabbits/year), is constrained by the cost of industrial pellets. Panicum maximum, an abundant local forage, remains low in protein, hence the interest of combining it with Euphorbia heterophylla, which is rich in protein and alpha-linolenic acid and whose overall effect on the zootechnical parameters of the doe rabbit remains poorly documented.
Objective: To evaluate the effect of incorporating E. heterophylla into a Panicum + pellet diet on the performance of the reproducing doe rabbit and her offspring.
