KNOWLEDGE, ATTITUDE, AND PRACTICE REGARDING DIABETIC FOOT CARE AMONG DIABETIC PATIENTS AT DAMMAM DIABETES AND ENDOCRINE CENTER, SAUDI ARABIA 2026

Background:-Diabetes mellitus is an escalating global health problem. Early identification and management of diabetic patients are essential to prevent complications. Diabetic foot carereduces the risk of foot-related complications, lessens the economic burden, and enhances overall quality of life. This study aims to assessthe level of knowledge, attitude,and practice regarding diabetic foot care among diabetic patients. Methods:-An analytical cross-sectional study wasconductedamong 401 diabetic patients attending the Diabetes and Endocrine Center at Dammam Medical Complex, Eastern Health Cluster, Saudi Arabia during the period from February to April 2026. A self-administered questionnaire was distributed tothe diabetic patients and included questions related to knowledge, attitude, and practice regarding diabetic foot care.
