Abstract
In Burkina Faso, soil acidity is a limiting factor for soil productivity and cereal yields. However, the country has significant dolomite deposits that are underutilized in agriculture, despite their high content of bases (calcium and magnesium), which can correct soil acidity. This study was conducted to evaluate the agronomic effects of dolomite, with or without the addition of compost, on the productivity of acidic soils under maize cultivation in the South-Sudanian zone of Burkina Faso. Achieve this, a Randomized Complete Block Design with seven (07) treatments and four (04) replications was established at the INERA/Farako-Ba research station.
