Abstract

This paper deals with the floral diversity of Tapi District, Gujarat. In the present study 703 species and 481 genera belonging to 119 families were listed from the study area. The list of plants has a botanical name, vernacular name and family. A total of 703 species of flowering plants, 318 species are herbs, 176 species are trees, 125 species are shrubs and 84 species are climbers. This study shows that herbaceous plants are dominating in the forest and its surrounding areas.
