Abstract
di-Calcium magnesium di-Silicate phosphor Ca2MgSi2O7 doped different rare earth with white long-lasting afterglow was prepared by solid state reaction, and combustion method. Then after investigated its thermo luminescence & photoluminescence properties. The characteristic intra-configurational 4f emissions of rare earth were observed in the emission spectra as well as the afterglow spectra under ultraviolet excitation. The Thermoluminescence spectra above room temperature are employed for the discussion of the origin of traps .
