Synthesis, Reactions and Biological Evaluation of Novel 7-Thioxo-pyrido[2,3-d][1,2,3]triazine Derivatives Bearing Sulfonamide Moiety

Abstract

7-Thioxopyrido[2,3-d][1,2,3]triazine derivative bearing sulfonamide moiety was synthesized and reacted with different reagents to afford thieno[3',2':5,6]pyrido[2,3-d][1,2,3]triazines, oxazinothienopyrido-triazines, pyrimidothienopyridotriazines, pyridazinothienopyridotriazines, pyrazolopyridotriazin-6-amine and pyridazinopyrazolopyridotriazines. The biological evaluation of Sixteen of the newly synthesized compounds was screened as antimicrobial compounds.
