A STUDY OF ROLE EXPECTATIONS AND ROLE PERFORMANCE OF HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS IN RELATION TO REGION, AGE AND LOCALITY

The main objective of the study is to study the impact of region, age, locality on the role expectation and role performance of high school teachers. A questionnaire developed by Hemalatha Krishnaveni (2013) was adopted. Asample of 900 high school teachers representing all categories of schools.‘t’ – test and ANOVA (‘F’ - test) were employed for analysis the data.There is significant influence of region, age and locality at 0.01 level on the role expectation and role performance of teachers.
