Abstract

Ozone is a triatomic molecule of oxygen with powerful oxidative potential which makes it a potent antimicrobial, antihypoxic, immunostimulating, analgesic, bioenergetic and biosynthetic agent ,offering a wide range of therapeutic benefits ,in various fields of medicine and dentistry. The current article attempts to summerize the advances pertinent to ozone therapy in dentistry, over the years.
