Abstract

Gender identity or gender expression differ from their assigned sex. In Kerala, transgenders are facing so many problems from the society and family. The main areas of exclusion are educational, medical, employment etc. But when if a transgender is disabling by birth or she has acquired disability she faces a double problem in their life. The main problems are unemployment, Medical care and discrimination from society and also their family. The main physical disabilities are hearing disability, visual impairment, Locomotors disability etc. Transgender are not benefited from any disability rehabilitation services of government and NGO\\\'s. The main focus of the study is what are the area they face exclusion in Kerala..
