Abstract
In this chapter, a generalized form of Reynolds equation for liquid film lubrication with slip at the bearing surface is derived, by considering the variation of fluid properties across the film thickness and is applied to study the effects of velocity slip and viscosity variation in finite journal bearing using FDM Technique. The effect of two layer increases the pressure and increases load.
