Abstract

Crassocephalumcrepidioides has been widely used in many parts of the world. The succus of the plant has also been used since many years by the local people of Manipur to treat fresh wounds. However, there has been no scientific studies till date to prove its role in wound healing. The present study is an attempt to evaluate the effects of the methanol extract of the leaves of this plant on the wound healing activity in albino rats using different wound models.
