Abstract

From the village of Kabadio (Casamance, Senegal), of work that will allow them to support themselves and their families, as well as gain social prestige. The French association Permakabadiois trying to slow down this exodus phenomenon through the activity of permaculture. What are the factors that push these young people to leave their village? And what role does the association play in this desire to leave? Based on a series of interviews and long-term observations in the village of Kabadio, the article will attempt to answer these questions.
