Abstract

New exact solutions of some important nonlinear partial differential equations in one and two dimensions are obtained by using the sub-ODE method. the sub-ODE method is described to construct several kinds of exact travelling wave solutions for the improved Korteweg-de Vries ( IKdV) equation and two dimension Korteweg-de Vries (2D KdV) equation .
