UTILITY OF MENTAL STATE IN PRESCRIBING HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICINE - A CASE REPORT OF TENSION TYPE HEADACHE

Abstract

Headache is the most common problem for which patient wants medical attention as it is decreasing the quality of life of person. TTH is a chronic head pain syndrome which is characterized by bilateral tight band like discomfort without any associated features i.e. nausea , vomiting, photophobia, phonophobia and aggravate with movements. Mental state is a situation that exists in organisms at all levels and in different area in response to certain stimuli (past as well as present) and is expressed in a qualitative manner through the functioning of organism. According to Dr. Hahnemann, Headache is one sided disease in which we get very few symptoms for getting similimum. So, mental state of patient during headache is very helpful for getting similimum.
