Abstract
Fujian, located in the coastal region, has attached great importance to education since ancient times, and the strategy of rejuvenating Fujian with science and education and overseas Chinese donations to help education are the best examples. However, the weak educational resources and other factors make the education level in Fujian need to be improved. Therefore, this paper puts forward a SWOT analysis on the development of education in Fujian. Based on the comparative analysis of its educational advantages, disadvantages, opportunities, threats and other four aspects, the paper puts forward relevant strategies for educational development: 1. Strengthening educational and cultural exchanges; 2. Promote the development of digitalization and informatization; 3. Guarantee teachers and funds; 4. Timely and appropriate development strategies.
