There is a marked interest in the adoption of authentic and competency-based assessment, utilizing tools such as detailed rubrics to align learning with professional demands.Concurrently, the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and learning analytics is being intensively explored to automate feedback, reduce faculty workload, and optimize pedagogical processes. The literature underscores that the success of these innovations depends on adequate change management, faculty professional development, and overcoming institutional barriers, as well as addressing the ethical challenges associated with the use of algorithms in assessment.
