Abstract

This study aims to determine the role and constraints of the Prosecutor in the prosecution of the crime of defamation of religion is connected with the purpose of punishment. This study uses normative research and socio-juridical. The results showed how the relationship prosecution procedure and substance of the prosecution so that the role of the prosecution of the crime of defamation of religions can work well within the framework of law enforcement and the attainment of the objectives of punishment for the perpetrators of the crime of blasphemy.
