Abstract

Background: Perioperative cardiovascular complications represent a major concern in pediatric anesthesia. Objective: To determine the incidence of perioperative cardiovascular complications in pediatrics and identify independent risk factors. Methods: Prospective observational study (AprilAugust 2025) including 470 children undergoing surgery. Cardiovascular complications (hypotension, tachy/bradycardia requiring intervention) were recorded. Uni and multivariate analyses were performed.
