Geopolitical instability has emerged as a persistent driver of operational disruption in the energy sector, with significant implications for procurement and financial workflows. The procure-to-pay (P2P) function, which integrates sourcing, procurement, and payment activities, is particularly vulnerable to supply shocks, regulatory volatility, and cost fluctuations.
