Abstract

Background: Moringaoleifera and probiotics are well known for their health-promoting characteristics and possible uses in functional foods. The combination of both of these substances may bring synergy to metabolic health benefits; nevertheless, consumer awareness and acceptance of such products have not been investigated sufficiently yet. Objective: To investigate consumer awareness, perceptions, acceptance, and purchasing intention of moringa-infused probiotic products and their possible benefits to metabolic health. Methods : A questionnaire was employed to conduct a cross-sectional study using 100 adult participants. Data analysis involved descriptive statistics, Cronbachs alpha test, chi-square test, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, correlation, and regression.
