Abstract

The quality of education largely depends on teachers who play significant role in curriculum implementation. Effective leadership of principals is imperative for boosting teacher motivation and job engagement.The study examined the relationship between principals instructional supervision practices and teachers job engagement in public secondary schools in Delta State , Nigeria. Guided by two research questions and one hypothesis, the sample of 416 was drawn from 463 public secondary schools in the State using multiple sampling and proportional stratified techniques.
