Abstract

Digital transformation is increasingly critical for procurement organizations in asset intensive industries, where supplier responsiveness, logistics accuracy, and operational continuity are essential. This study examines the modernization of a legacy Supplier Network Collaboration (SNC) system within a major oil and gas enterprise through its migration to a unified DigitalSupplier platform. Using the SAP Activate methodology, the transformation introduced seven integrated SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 applications synchronized with SAP S/4HANA and supported by centralized master data governance. A 90 day parallel run was conducted to compare the performance of SNC and DigitalSupplier. The results demonstrate significant improvements: supplier onboarding time decreased from five working days to one hour, adoption increased by 40%, support tickets declined by 20%, and ASN errors were reduced by 10%. These findings empirically support the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and align with Digital
