Abstract
This study examines the influence of producer organizations and access to production factors on the economic performance of 2,982 rice farms in the Mboudoum Barrage Union, Senegal River Valley, using PCA, HCPC, and linear regression. Producers have an average of 18.6 years of experience, 3.79 ha of land, 208,735 FCFA in credit, and 133,493 FCFA in inputs, yielding an average income of 319,566 FCFA, with wide disparities. PCA reveals three dimensions: intensification, financing, and organizational integration. HCPC identifies seven farm profiles. Regression analysis confirms that experience, length of membership, number of plots, credit, and input spending have significant effects on performance. These findings call for strengthening producer organizations and improving financing and advisory services.
