Abstract

The efficiency of the Claus process plant is determined by material balance. A new commercial available catalyst is recommended with contact time 3 seconds. A pilot plant has been designed to optimize temperature and air to gas ratio for maximizing of sulphur recovery in process thus reducing H2S pollution.
