Abstract
Despite abated atmospheric emissions due to adoption of advanced technology in industrial operations and restrictions on emission, heavy metals may remain a major environmental hazard. The present study was focused to investigate the level of heavy metal pollution in excreta of blue rock pigeon collected from six different industrial regions in Jaipur. The concentrations of heavy elements were measured using atomic absorption spectrophotometer after chemical digestion with HNO3. Presence of heavy metals in excreta followed the order Cd
