Abstract
Background: One of the difficulties faced by children undergoing abdominal surgery is sleep disturbance. Aromatherapy is an alternative andsupplementary treatment that enhances sleep quality and encourage relaxation.
Conclusions: Aromatherapy can significantly improve sleep quality among children post abdominal surgeries.
Recommendation: Aromatherapy should be used asa routine nursing intervention to improvesleep quality for children after abdominal surgeries.
