Abstract

As presented in English Language in School: School English Language Fair, this second professional experience, to be shared especially with every teacher in their field of expertise, within the context of the teaching-learning process, can serve as inspiration, stimulus, and incentive to promote the use of active methodologies, aiming for meaningful learning on the part of the student. This reinforces the importance of applying active methodologies over excessively theoretical and passive ones. The promotion and development of activities such as school fairs is considered important and necessary, not only as learning opportunities but also as recreational activities, since they promote and stimulate the active participation of students. In developing their pedagogical project, professionals not only organize the teaching process in their field of expertise but also promote the development of innovative methodologies and strategies, with the student as the main beneficiary. Based on this reported experience, bibliographic research and systematization were conducted to establish the respective scientific foundations, and thus, the methodology employed is considered to be of a qualitative type.
